A few years ago I discovered a quarterly publication called “Still Point Arts Quarterly” and have a strong sense of affiliation for the art and writings published in these books. These little gems encompass what I love aesthetically in art, nature and the spiritual world. Last year I applied for a juried competition for the annual exhibition titled “Simplicity." I was delighted to have my painting “Wild and Windy” chosen for the Best Painting Award.  I love all the art in these mini exhibitions because of the simplicity and how only the essentials give a meditative quality to the artwork. I look forward to each publication and always have a current copy on my coffee table to relax and reflect while flipping through the pages.
